The Overcomer’s Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before you in prayer in the mighty name of Jesus.  My declaration is that I choose to be an overcomer in Christ Jesus.  I surrender myself to the journey you have set aside for me and I choose to press into the mark of the prize which is the high calling in Jesus Christ.  I declare that as a result of my life and response to your commands it will be said to me, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”  I humbly accept responsibility for my failures, shortcomings and sin and accept your free grace and forgiveness.  I choose to partake of the promises associated with being an overcomer and walking in freedom.  I surrender myself to your Holy Spirit to lead and guide my life day by day and moment by moment.
